Off we go today to the Two Heart River Recreation Area. Still windy and cold, I can't believe it is July 3 and we are in Polar Fleece jackets (eh). The recreation area runs along Lake Superior. This is a beautiful river but the county roads we are on are all tree lined and forest so there isn't much viewing. The area reminds us alot of home. However, it is dusty red dirt roads, we are covered in dirt right up to the door handles. We have invented a new color for our HHR .. dusty red! We followed the signs to the mouth of the Two Heart where it runs next to Lake Superior and then into the lake itself. Very Pretty. We thought about taking a float trip but it was too windy.
Back at camp we had dinner inside again because it is so windy. It was a nice day but thought we would see more... you never know!
