Pro Football Hall of Fame

“ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?” - for those of you who don’t know me very well I am a huge football fan. When we arrived at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton I felt like a little kid. I never thought I would get to see it.
I learned a lot about the early years of football and even about the Boston team. It was interesting to see the first helmets which were not very protective and were made of leather. I saw the largest championship ring ever made (size is 19 ½). That’s a big ring! The Hall of Fame room holds all of the bronze busts of the inducted players and it was interesting to see some of the older players like YA Tittle and of course the 4 New England Patriots (Buoniconti, Hannah, Haynes, Tippet). Of course we saw Tom Brady’s MVP uniform and the newest display showing New England’s 21 game win streak. It shows footballs for each game with the opponents name and game score. For a fan it was terrific! Lastly there is a glass case that shows all of the Super Bowl Rings. Talk about BLING! I can’t imagine what they weigh. They were awesome…. OK enough football….

We got back to camp. Today was beautiful and sunny. We hope the weather holds so we can do some fishing on the lake. Ken decided he wanted Italian food tonight so we decided to go see what downtown Ravenna had to offer. We found a little place called Guido’s. They had pictures of the owners and family members going way back to the 1930’s. It was great homemade food. Where can you go for 2 Italian dinners for $15. Service was great.

We will have been on the road 2 weeks tomorrow and we are having a blast!
